Do you remember how expensive NES games were back in the day? I'm rather surprised Mom bought any for us. She did buy a few though, and my cousins had a few more. But between us, we only had a handful of games.

To that end, I'm really excited about this:

Yeah, you read that right. Nintendo recently announced their plans to release a tiny NES that will come pre-packed with 30 classic NES games. The list is varied and wonderful, some of them childhood favorites, and others I never had the opportunity to try.

This little gem will set you back $60, which I thought was a good bit lower than they could have priced it, considering they are preying on those of us older gamers who will want this for the nostalgic value alone. The games are just a lovely little bonus. lol

Of course, I want this. I think it's adorable. It comes with one controller, an old-school one for those truly retro gamers. Additional controllers can be purchased for $10 each. This little classic controller can be used with NES Virtual Console games on the Wii and Wii U too.
