The weekly blog series all about gaming fun. Enjoy! ♥
***Name That Game!*** Fun Friday
Did you guess last week's game based on the shared screenshot? If you thought Borderlands, you are absolutely correct! If you thought the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC specifically, even better. Great job! ♥
A new series in which we laugh. Or guess a game based on a random screenshot and/or quote. Or learn a bit of trivia we might not have already known. Let's have some fun!
***Name That Game!*** Fun Friday
Let's try something new and [I hope] fun! I've posted an image below that's taken from a random game. Tell us in the comments which game you think it is. This is just for fun and there's no prize, other than bragging rights if you nail it. ;)
Every game has glitches. Some companies are KNOWN for them—I'm looking at YOU, Bethesda—others not so much. Bottom line, they all have them. This week's video focuses on a few from FFXV. I've included some clips that aren't glitches, just amusing. Enjoy! ♥
Yet another post about my recent gaming acquisitions...
***A Few More PS4 Exclusives*** New Loot!
It's a short list this time, but that's really no excuse when each game is $20+. Anyway, here's what I grabbed...
The Last Guardian - this was actually a purchase for hubby, as he'd expressed interest in this puzzling, platformer-ish style game. I think the huge, rodent-like creature is cute and I want to know more. lol
After over a year of playing Mobius on Android, and a few weeks of playing it on PC, I finally managed a battle score that floored me. 22.6 million. I'm still a little in shock and I'm quite sure I'll never manage this score again. Especially since it was accomplished during one of the limited time battles featured in the FFVII Remake Collaboration Event.
Want to see how I did it? Watch the video embedded below. ▼
The series in which I share still shots from whatever video game happens to tickle my fancy at the moment. This week's shots are from the free-to-play PC edition of Mobius Final Fantasy, specifically the recent FFVII Remake Collaboration Event.
The series in which I share a gaming tip or trick. Some are ones I discovered on my own, while some are ones I had to look up online. The following is one I happened to stumble across myself.
***Photo Challenge Tip*** Final Fantasy XV Moogle Chocobo Carnival DLC
This post is by no means a cheat for the photo challenge in FFXV's Moogle Chocobo Carnival DLC. I only give away one image in particular. I've thought about finding them all for anyone who wants to "cheat" their way through this aspect, but there are already a bunch of videos doing just that.
Honestly, I was getting so frustrated that I was tempted to find someone who'd posted all the locations. Until I happened to realize something...
It's time for another gaming vid featuring the gaming talent of yours truly! Or not. Sometimes I suck. ;)
***Death to All Sugrivas!*** ...Wendigos AND Neelas! Last One Battle Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
I've played a lot of Lightning Returns and in doing so, defeated a lot of the 'Last Ones' the game boasts. It's fun, sometimes super easy, but there are times where it's a little more work than I anticipated. Though by no means a difficult battle (especially since I play on easy mode), the following battle was a little harder than I expected going into it. ▼
It's time for another round of random screenshots from a randomly selected game. Except I rarely do anything randomly...
***NieR: Automata*** DEMO 120161128
The NieR: Automata demo was one I wasn't sure I'd enjoy, but I was pleased to discover it was a lot of fun. You can find my review of it HERE. And now enjoy these rather stunning images from the demo! ♥
2B. Getting ready to stomp some machines into the ground.
The blog series of posts in which I list the posts this blog has seen over a specific period of time, usually seven days worth. Today, it's a few more...
***What You Missed Wednesday*** 12/21/2016-1/31/2017
It's been a while since I listed out this blog's posts for a certain period of time. I should do it at least once a month, just to catch up new readers and let long-time readers know of any posts they might have missed. Sorry I've been so lax in this department.
(12/22/2016) The Facts About FFXV's New Game+ - When the New Game+ option was first released, there was a lot of misinformation out there about it. This post is everything I noticed from my own playthrough. Rated T.
When I pre-ordered FFXV, I eventually went and bought the Season Pass. I knew I wanted it, but finances forced me to wait a bit. Not a big deal, since the first DLC wasn't planned for a month or two anyway.
That said, the first of the playable DLCs has been released, and though it's not much as far as "playable" goes, it's still something to do if you've already beaten the game.
**Moogle Chocobo Carnival** Final Fantasy XV DLC

The series in which I show you how to game...like me...which isn't great...
***Death to All Niblets!*** 'Last One' Battle Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns Movie Monday
I've played FFXIII: Lightning Returns for several dozen hours. I'm still not great at it. But sometimes I come up against an enemy, one who's supposed to be "powerful," and I slaughter them. Makes me feel good...for about three seconds.
This particular 'Last One' battle also finishes up a 3-star side quest that originates in Yusnaan. Check it out...▼
The series in which I share screenshots from various games I play. Just like the title says.
***ABZÛ*** Screenshot Saturday
I stumbled across ABZÛ during Steam's most recent sale. I was enchanted with the screenshots and videos on the Steam store page, so I bought it. I didn't regret the purchase. It's a beautiful game, and I've only played for a few minutes at this point.
The blog series in which I share the latest additions to my gaming library...
**I Already Have That Game** New Loot!
Yeah, I have a habit of buying games more than once. This time I bought Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection, which I already had for 360. I had planned to get the AC games for PC, but honestly, Ubisoft doesn't seem to give a crap about PC, at least as far as the AC games go—poorly mapped controllers, no achievements, other issues that I don't know about personally since I only have one AC game for PC and I haven't even played it yet (Rogue, in case you're wondering). So I was pretty thrilled to discover the PS4 release of ACII, AC Brotherhood, and AC Revelations. They also included two short films, one that takes place before ACII (Lineage) and one that takes place after Revelations (Embers). All in all, a great addition to my library.
*All things AC belong to Ubisoft, who in no way endorses this blog. You may now go about your day. Thank you.
The blog series where I share a gaming vid. These are most often me, playing a game. Usually not well.
***Simple Traversal*** Secret Mission DmC Devil May Cry (Definitive Edition)
I've spent many, many hours playing DmC Devil May Cry. First on the 360 (over 600 hrs, believe it or not), then on PC, and then the Definitive Edition on PS4. For some reason, I just love this game. (And yes, I've reviewed it. You can find that HERE.)
Anyway, I've embedded a video below, from the Definitive Edition. It's one of the Secret Missions that the game features. This particular one is part of the platforming involved in this game. Enjoy! ▼
The series in which I share a gaming tip or trick....like the title says...
***Farming AP and EXP*** Final Fantasy XV
This may not be anything new to anyone playing this game, but I stumbled across a couple of things I thought might be helpful, as far as leveling up and strengthening your characters goes in FFXV. Check it out. ▼
