Movie Monday (#11) - Borderlands 2

I've had so much fun playing Borderlands 2. Getting The Handsome Collection for PS4 was one of the best decisions I ever made. Here's one of those gaming moments I was glad I captured, 'cause really, how many times does a gamer actually drive in an entertainingly bad way in a video game? Lots, if that gamer is me.

GOG Sale - Witcher & Torchlight

Fans of DRM-free PC games might be interested in the sale over on GOG right now.

All the Witcher games are on sale (and GOG is owned by CD Projekt, developer of the Witcher games, so buying the Witcher games from them is kind of a DUH, lol). The first Witcher game is only $1.49 right now, and Witcher 2 is only $2.99. If you've been wanting to try a Witcher game, now's the time. There are some great mods out there for these games, too. I will say, though, these games definitely deserve their M (Mature 17+) ratings.

The Torchlight games are also on sale. Torchlight is a fun action rpg that I've played on Xbox 360, rated T. Gotta say, I'm seriously tempted to grab the PC edition. In fact, I can't think of a single reason why I shouldn't. It's only $3.74. For DRM-free. It's really hard to beat that price and have the ability to play with mods, if modding is your thing. Torchlight II is also on sale for half off, making it only $9.99.

I don't know how long the sale prices will last, though the site indicates the Witcher series will be on sale for another 7 days or so. There are other games on sale too, so click on over and check it all out!

—DLC Review— The Secret Armory of General Knoxx (Borderlands)

Borderlands games are known for humor, bright colors, loot, and DLC that's almost as fun as the game itself. Each DLC is like a game of its own, thus worthy of a review of its own.

Screenshot Saturday (#13) - Tomb Raider (2013)

I'm a long-time fan of the Tomb Raider franchise. When I heard there would be a reboot, of course I was intrigued. I like the result, though it's by far more "adult" than the first games in this series. Here are a few screenshots. Enjoy! ♥

—Game Review— Lost Odyssey

A JRPG written by someone who used to work on Final Fantasy games for Squeenix? Yes, please. Don't remember where I heard that, it's been so long, but this game definitely has that feel. Sooooo worth buying!

What You Missed Wednesday (#3)

Time for another "catch you up" post.

*What You Missed Wednesday*

Here are the posts from the last seven days. What did you miss?

That's it. I'm trying to post more, especially since I have so many games to review. I play a LOT of games. Maybe I should get out of the house more...

Movie Monday (#9) - Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

As my favorite game, it makes sense that I share some gaming vidz of Enslaved, right? Right. So here you go. This game is rated T, but this short video doesn't have any language or blood in it.

This one was pretty cool. I actually thought I didn't make it. I was wrong. :D

—Game Review— Borderlands

Ah, Borderlands. The game of a million lame—and not so lame—jests. My brother got my hubby into Borderlands 2, who in turn got me into B2 and naturally, we wanted to check out the original. Hubby, of course, opted to buy the Game of the Year Edition and get all the DLC. Yay him. Then I went and bought it for PC, 'cause...REASONS.

*What You Missed Wednesday*

It's been another week, and this past week hasn't been a super busy one on the blog. Still, there have been posts. So, what did you miss?

Movie Monday (#8) - DmC Devil May Cry

For the many, many hours I've played DmC Devil May Cry, it's weird how little I've actually shared with anyone.

I've selected a short video I saved of me taking out a hell knight and a frost knight. Each only takes damage from a certain type of attack and in this game, they like to throw both of these at you at once.

This is an M-rated game, so if you're squeamish about that, you might want to skip this particular Movie Monday. Otherwise, enjoy! ♥

—Game Review— Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes

This was offered free for gold subscribers in the Xbox Live Marketplace some time ago. I grabbed it based on my brother's recommendation. It's a clever little game of puzzle-style battles. I enjoyed it enough to grab the PC edition when it went on sale on Steam for only $5.

What You Missed Wednesday (#1)

A new weekly posting, this time one that catches you up on everything from The Heartless Gamer Girl you may have missed the previous seven days. This post will happen every Wednesday, catching you up on what you might have missed since the previous Wednesday.

Since this is the first one, it will be more than seven days. Hell, let's go all out and post all of April, plus the post previous to this one. Sound good? Good. After this one, it will be every seven days, about the previous seven days, regular like clockwork. Enjoy! ♥

**What You Missed Wednesday**

April was the busiest month since starting my blog. I love that. :D

Being part of an open beta means lots of fun, glitchy gaming vidz. Here's a boss fight from Battleborn. In this one, I'm Oscar Mike. He has grenades. Grenades are fun. Enjoy! ♥
