The weekly series in which I share screenshots of games, usually one I'm currently playing...

***Moogle Chocobo Carnival***
Final Fantasy XV DLC

The first "playable" DLC for FFXV was released recently so I thought I'd share a few images from that, the Moogle Chocobo Carnival. Enjoy! ♥

—DLC Review— Moogle Chocobo Carnival (FFXV)

When I pre-ordered FFXV, I eventually went and bought the Season Pass. I knew I wanted it, but finances forced me to wait a bit. Not a big deal, since the first DLC wasn't planned for a month or two anyway.

That said, the first of the playable DLCs has been released, and though it's not much as far as "playable" goes, it's still something to do if you've already beaten the game.

Movie Monday (#36) - Death to All Niblets! (FFXIII LR)

The series in which I show you how to game...like me...which isn't great...

***Death to All Niblets!***
'Last One' Battle
Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns
Movie Monday

I've played FFXIII: Lightning Returns for several dozen hours. I'm still not great at it. But sometimes I come up against an enemy, one who's supposed to be "powerful," and I slaughter them. Makes me feel good...for about three seconds.

This particular 'Last One' battle also finishes up a 3-star side quest that originates in Yusnaan. Check it out...▼

Screenshot Saturday (#37) - ABZÛ

The series in which I share screenshots from various games I play. Just like the title says.

***ABZÛ***
Screenshot Saturday

I stumbled across ABZÛ during Steam's most recent sale. I was enchanted with the screenshots and videos on the Steam store page, so I bought it. I didn't regret the purchase. It's a beautiful game, and I've only played for a few minutes at this point.

New Loot! (#43) - "I Already Have That Game" Edition

The blog series in which I share the latest additions to my gaming library...

**I Already Have That Game**
New Loot!

Yeah, I have a habit of buying games more than once. This time I bought Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection, which I already had for 360. I had planned to get the AC games for PC, but honestly, Ubisoft doesn't seem to give a crap about PC, at least as far as the AC games go—poorly mapped controllers, no achievements, other issues that I don't know about personally since I only have one AC game for PC and I haven't even played it yet (Rogue, in case you're wondering). So I was pretty thrilled to discover the PS4 release of ACII, AC Brotherhood, and AC Revelations. They also included two short films, one that takes place before ACII (Lineage) and one that takes place after Revelations (Embers). All in all, a great addition to my library.

*All things AC belong to Ubisoft, who in no way endorses this blog. You may now go about your day. Thank you.

Until next time...

Movie Monday (#35) - Simple Traversal (DmC)

The blog series where I share a gaming vid. These are most often me, playing a game. Usually not well.

***Simple Traversal***
Secret Mission
DmC Devil May Cry (Definitive Edition)

I've spent many, many hours playing DmC Devil May Cry. First on the 360 (over 600 hrs, believe it or not), then on PC, and then the Definitive Edition on PS4. For some reason, I just love this game. (And yes, I've reviewed it. You can find that HERE.)

Anyway, I've embedded a video below, from the Definitive Edition. It's one of the Secret Missions that the game features. This particular one is part of the platforming involved in this game. Enjoy! ▼

—Demo Review— Tales of Berseria Demo

When a demo pops up for a game and it's a game I really want but it isn't released yet (here in the US at least)...of course I'm gonna play it...and review it.

"Tales of" games are amusing, action-packed, and just plain fun. Berseria—based on the demo alone—is no exception.

The series in which I share a gaming tip or trick....like the title says...

***Farming AP and EXP***

This may not be anything new to anyone playing this game, but I stumbled across a couple of things I thought might be helpful, as far as leveling up and strengthening your characters goes in FFXV. Check it out. ▼

New Loot! (#42) - "Why Oh Why" Edition

The series in which I lament my sad inability to resist game sales...

***"Why Oh Why?"***
New Loot #42

Yet again, I have succumbed to Steam's winter sale prices, adding a few more games and some DLC to my ever-expanding collection.
  • Trine 1-3 - Hubby already bought these and they are co-op, so I figured I'd get them too and we'd play together. We need something in common other than Borderlands 2...
  • ABZÛ - Sooooo pretty...
