New Loot (#29)

More Steam and GOG sales, more games for Lowli. Steam and GOG love me. Or hate me. Depends on how you look at things. :P

Don't know who Lowli is? That's me. I'm LowliGigger on Xbox and Steam, LowliGiggre on PlayStation, and JaimeyGrant on GOG (meant to be LowliGigger on GOG too, but messed that up when I signed up, lol). Look me up if you'd like to friend me any of these places. :)

I didn't have this AC yet, so when it went on sale on Steam I grabbed it. And while I was at it, I grabbed the deluxe edition that has all the DLC.

Kinda weird, though, as new as this game is, there are no Steam Achievements. I found that odd...

I played this game all the way through on Xbox 360 and figured I'd relive the joy on PC. I don't typically do multiplayer, so it's just the story mode I'm interested in, but it was a fun game on Xbox, so... And Steam had it on sale. I'm a sucker for a Steam sale.

*Rated E for Everyone 10+*

I have this for Xbone but I HATE Xbone, so I grabbed it for PC when it went on sale on Steam. I mean, why not? It's an RPG. With original artwork. Need I say more?

I went ahead and grabbed all the DLC as well, 'cause again, why not?

*I totally swiped the "box" art from Steam. All the images link to Steam. :)

*Rated E for Everyone*

I have this for Xbox but both of my Xboxes are temperamental. So when GOG put this game on sale for only $5 I couldn't help but grab it. Apparently, this game is a remake of a 1987 game. Super retro. :D

*I totally swiped the "box" art from GOG. It links to GOG. :) And I have no idea why it did that weird white bar on the right side of it either. Oh well.

Movie Monday (#2)

One of my own gaming vidz. I'm not claiming they're anything great, but this one ends on a bit of a funny note. Oh, this can probably be considered a bit of a SPOILER since it is the game's final boss. Enjoy! ♥

Screenshot Saturday (#5) - FF Type-0 HD

Another Saturday, another screenshot. Here're a couple from FFT-0HD. These are straight up screen captures; all I did was shrink them a bit for web-sized fun. ;) Enjoy! ♥

Despite his weirdness and ridiculous way of talking, Nine is probably my favorite Type-0 character. He amuses me.

Here's another:

This character also makes me chuckle. She's not really in the game much, and she is a villain, but she does make me laugh.

—Game Review— Tales of Vesperia

My brother told me this was part of a Namco sale in the Xbox Live Marketplace so I grabbed it. After only an hour or so of gameplay, I realized it was well worth the $4 price tag. I even went so far as to buy the disc from Amazon, 'cause... well, I like to have a physical backup of my favorite games. ☺

Movie Monday (#1)

And because I capture game video with as much enthusiasm as I do screenshots, I've started...
This feature may not always be my own game videos. I might occasionally trot on over to YouTube and link others people's videos, ones I found helpful to my own gameplay or found just plain entertaining. Some might not be game vidz at all, but they will always have something to do with gaming.

For this very first Movie Monday, how about something I'm very excited about. The remake of Final Fantasy VII. A few teaser videos have been released and wow. Just WOW.

New Loot! (#28)

Hubby's been on a game-buying binge, so we have some new Xbox One games now. And Steam had a Square Enix sale, so I grabbed a few Final Fantasy games for half off. Seriously, Steam will be the ruination of me.

Holy crap, I'm already in love with the cuteness of this game. Definitely one of the best games I've bought and I think everyone who loves the retro, nostalgic feel of old, crappy graphics should grab this PC game. It's the FF game I'm gonna start my kids on. It's that good/fun/adorable. lol

***Final Fantasy VII***

After reading the reviews for this on Steam, I wonder if buying it there was a mistake. It appears Squeenix is rather protective of this particular title and playing it not only requires an active internet connection, you also HAVE to be connected to the Square Enix site in order to play. This seems to cause many problems. I haven't tried myself yet, so I can't say from personal experience. Still, I'm concerned.

***Lightning Returns***
Final Fantasy XIII

Published by Square Enix
Developed by Square Enix
PC edition released 2015
*Rated T for Teen*

I've enjoyed FFXIII-2 so much (for 360 and PC) and Lightning Returns on 360, so I knew it was just a matter of time before I grabbed the Steam version of LR:FFXIII. Well, it went on sale for half off and I gave in to temptation. It came with all the DLC schemata (outfits for Lightning that have battle perks) and there are a few mods for this game too, so... BONUS! ☺

Hubby bought an Xbone even though he already had one. He wanted to gift the console (and a copy of Fallout 4) to my cousin, so he grabbed a console that included a few other games. This was one of them. It's for his collection, since I don't particularly care for racing games.

This came with an Xbone that hubby bought recently. I've been eyeballing this game on Steam, so I wasn't averse to acquiring it, though I'm not sure I'm OK with it being the Xbone edition instead of the PC edition. I'll make do. lol

This is the legendary edition so it has a bunch of DLC (all download codes) included.

Hubby bought an Xbox One and this came with it. I watched gameplay videos of this one and it seemed funny, the way Borderlands is funny. I'll probably give it a chance.

Screenshot Saturday (#2) - DmC Devil May Cry

DmC Devil May Cry is the first game I tried modding for myself. Just skin mods for now, but it's a start.

I may have gone a little crazy with the tattoos, but I really like tattoos. Oh well. This is one of the skin mods I've done. I've got more recent ones, but need to get some good screenshots.

The facial hair is a mod done by DmC Mods member Jareda. I use it in all my Dante mods. :)

Man at Arms — Dante's Rebellion Sword

Here's another great web show I stumbled across a while ago...

***MAN AT ARMS***
*REFORGED*
Dante's Rebellion Sword (Devil May Cry)

I've watched several episodes of this show and I think it's great fun to watch this awesome team of artists recreate video game weapons. I, of course, had to share an episode featuring one of my all-time favorite video game characters. :D

Click on over to YouTube, give the vid a like (if you liked it), and check out the other episodes/weapons.
