New Loot! #46 - The "I'm Obsessed" Edition

The series in which I list what I've purchased recently...or what I've purchased that I've neglected to share with you lovely, lovely readers. 'Cause I haven't posted in a while...

So many games, so little time. Here's the latest...

***I'm Obsessed***
New Loot!

Divinity II: Director's Cut (PC)—
This was cheap. I mean, really cheap. It was part of a "Divine" bundle on Steam. Sounds interesting; I'm willing to give it a try.

Beyond Divinity (PC)—
This was part of a bundle on Steam. Three games for $3. Can't beat that.

Divine Divinity (PC)—
Part of the aforementioned bundle.

Bayonetta (PC)—
Considering my less than glowing review of this 360 game, it's probably strange that I went and bought it for PC huh? Yeah, I'm weird that way. lol

Tales of Berseria (PC)—
I always knew I was going to get this, ever since I played the demo. The price dropped low enough for me to justify the purchase.

Fable: The Lost Chapters (PC)—
I have this for Xbox, and it will play on the 360, but it's really glitchy. And for some reason, despite having the Anniversary edition, I wanted this one.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force (PC)—
...and a crap-ton of DLC. I have FFF, but havne't finished it. I'm given to understnad ADF is more or less an "extended" edition of that.

That's all for now. Sorry for the HUGE time gap between posts. Depression sucks. And that's all I'm gonna say about that.

Until next time...

Screenshot Saturday (#43) - Tales of Symphonia

It's time for another smattering of screenshots from some random game. This week's choice is Tales of Symphonia. Enjoy! ♥

Fancy opening intro...

—Demo Review— Tales of Berseria Demo

When a demo pops up for a game and it's a game I really want but it isn't released yet (here in the US at least)...of course I'm gonna play it...and review it.

"Tales of" games are amusing, action-packed, and just plain fun. Berseria—based on the demo alone—is no exception.

New Loot! (#42) - "Why Oh Why" Edition

The series in which I lament my sad inability to resist game sales...

---

***"Why Oh Why?"***
New Loot #42

Yet again, I have succumbed to Steam's winter sale prices, adding a few more games and some DLC to my ever-expanding collection.

• Trine 1-3 - Hubby already bought these and they are co-op, so I figured I'd get them too and we'd play together. We need something in common other than Borderlands 2...
• ABZÛ - Sooooo pretty...

New Loot! (#41) - "Take My Money" Edition

Yet another post in which I tell you of my latest gaming finds...

---

***Take My Money***
New Loot #41

Yet again, the PC peoples got me with their sales and whatnot. I'm so easy...

From Steam (the Thanksgiving sale they had...I think):

• Battleborn: Digital Deluxe Edition - Not a very popular game, but I had fun with the Closed Technical Test and the Open Beta, so I bought it.
• Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition - I have this for 360, but I'm hoping to mod it. Why? 'Cause I wanna be able to actually beat it.
• The Witcher Enhanced Edition - Already owned it through GOG, bought it again. I'm weird that way.
• The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition - Another I already owned and bought again. There's something broken in my head...
• Tales from the Borderlands - Yeah, I'm still not sure why I bought this. Again. I bought it from GOG a few weeks ago, yet... Yeah. I have on 360 too. I think my Borderlands addiction might be a bit out of control...

From Steam's Winter Sale (in effect now through Jan 2):

• Ys I & II Chronicles+ - I've had this on my wishlist for a while. Figured I'd grab it while it was under $5.
• Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons - I started playing this on 360 and for some reason never finished it. I'll finish it this time. Plus it was under $3.
• Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition - another that's been on my wishlist for a while. Grabbed it for less than $10.
• Mass Effect - one of hubby's favorite games. Figured I oughtta give it a try when it's under $5.
• Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition - another of hubby's favorites. Pretty sure he said this was his favorite of the three games that are currently out in this series. It was under $5 in the Winter Sale. Plus Steam let me bundle it with the first game and gave me an extra discount.
• Final Fantasy VI - 'cause I didn't have it yet. Enough reason and it was half off, putting it under $10.
• Tales of Zestiria - yet another from my wishlist that I just couldn't resist in this sale. It was under $15, and well worth it, if the reviews are to be believed. I grabbed one of the DLCs as well.

From GOG:

• The Witcher III: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition - I own so much Witcher crap. Games, books, soundtracks, comics; the list goes on and on. Granted, most of that comes with the digital versions of the games from GOG, but the books I buy as they're translated and released here in the US. Everyone had to know I'd eventually get this game. I had to wait a bit for the price on the GOTY edition to drop. Then it went on sale [again] for $30. Now it's mine. All mine. Mwahahahahaha!!!!!!

GOG gave me (as part of their Monstrous Winter Sale):

• D&D Neverwinter Nights Diamond - Seems interesting. This was the game they gave to everyone just for stopping by and checking out the sale. It was free for 48 hours.
• Shadow Warrior Classic Redux - Um...it was free for getting 5000 points in the Winter Sale. I don't actually have an opinion on this one...
• Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut - Again, seems interesting. This was the free game for reaching 15k EXP. I bought Witcher III so I got a crap-ton of points.
• Stasis - Again, no opinion on this one. It was free for getting 30k points. I did that with one purchase. Go me.

And because I just can't help myself:

• Final Fantasy XV Season Pass (PS4) - I preordered the game, so why wouldn't I get the season pass as well, right?

Gotten any good games lately? Tell us in the comments. ♥

Until next time...

New Loot! (#31)

I just love buying new games. I want to try them all out immediately, but that's kinda silly when you think about it. I mean, I need to finish a few of the others I've started before starting a new one, right? Right??

---

***New Loot! (#31)***

Steam's summer sale is happening right now,* and there are tons of games I want. I had to limit myself to just a few this time, though, since money's a little tight. But this is gaming and seriously, if I don't spend my money on games, I'll buy something really silly. Like food. Or clothes.

So here is today's haul, with a nifty little clipping from my invoice to show you the games I settled on. Settled, pffft!

• Final Fantasy VIII - Square Enix; Rated T - I already have this for PS1, but I love gaming on my PC, so figured I'd try out this port.
• Final Fantasy XIII - Square Enix; Rated T - I already have this for 360, but I wanted it for PC too, 'cause... REASONS!
• Tales of Symphonia - Bandai Namco; Rated T - I adored Tales of Vesperia (check out my review HERE)! I decided I want to try all the Tales of games eventually. Most of them are PlayStation exclusives, specifically PS3, and some are for the handheld gaming devices. Symphonia was originally on Nintendo CameCube, was then ported to PS3, which was then ported to PC. Quite a journey this little game has had.

*The summer sale ends July 4, just FYI. ♥

Until next time...

—Game Review— Tales of Vesperia

My brother told me this was part of a Namco sale in the Xbox Live Marketplace so I grabbed it. After only an hour or so of gameplay, I realized it was well worth the $4 price tag. I even went so far as to buy the disc from Amazon, 'cause... well, I like to have a physical backup of my favorite games. ☺
