Tips N Tricks Tuesday #21 - Farming Items (FFXII: TZA)

The series in which I share a gaming tip or trick. Sometimes these are things I notice, sometimes things I have to look up. Hopefully, they help. ♥

***Farming Items***
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

I just recently bought Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age and I haven't stopped playing it since it arrived. I've never played this one before. I'm finding it rather fascinating.

To that end, I'm learning things other FF gamers probably figured out years ago. Particularly, item farming. I noticed that when you leave an area, you can turn around and go back, respawning any chests you'd already collected.

Now, it doesn't respawn all of them, every time. In the example below, you'll see how many times it changes each time I go back into the room. ▼

The blog series in which I share still shots from a randomly selected game. Today's selection is FFXV, specifically the Assassin's Festival, a limited time event celebrating the release of Assassin's Creed Origins. Enjoy! ♥

Throwback Thursday #3 - Let's Talk FF

The series in which I talk about old stuff: games, consoles, gear, what have you...

---

***Let's Talk Final Fantasy***
Throwback Thursday

With the somewhat recent release of FFXV (I know, it's been over a year now, so not really recent anymore) and the upcoming release of the FFVII REMAKE, I thought it only made sense to talk about a series that's been around for 30 years. So let's talk!

It all began with Final Fantasy on the NES. I played that. Good game. It didn't replace Dragon Warrior as my favorite JRPG on NES, however.

Did you play FF1? What did you think?

—DLC Review— Episode Prompto (FFXV)

Some DLCs are good enough...or bad enough...that they need their own reviews. The FFXV DLCs fall into one (or more) of those categories...

Tips N Tricks Tuesday #19 - Photo Challenge: The Carnival is Back! (FFXV DLC)

The series in which I share a gaming tip or trick. It may or may not help you be a better gamer...

---

***Photo Challenge***
Moogle Chocobo Carnival DLC
FFXV

The Moogle Chocobo Carnival is back in FFXV and that means you have another shot at taking on the photo challenge. For this week's tip, I'm not only helping you out with this, I'm giving you the locations. For this, I broke the whole thing down into 6 different videos.

SPOILER ALERT! If you don't want the locations, check out this tip I posted the first time this DLC came out: Photo Challenge Tip (FFXV Carnival DLC). It only gives away one location, just enough to show you how to find the rest.

If you want the easy answer, continue on. ▼

Movie Monday #43 - Taking on a Behemoth (FFXV)

The weekly series in which I share a gaming vid, usually provided by yours truly. Today is just such a video. Enjoy! ♥

Episode Prompto DLC

There comes a time in every gamer girl's life when she wants all the trophies. To that end, I went after one I actually figured I couldn't get: the Emperor Deposed trophy/achievement in the Episode Prompto DLC from FFXV.

You can't even guess how shocked I was when I managed it, on normal difficulty, on my very first try. I'm still in shock. It's not a pretty battle, and I definitely couldn't have done it without Aranea's help; she's level 50-something while Prompto is stuck at 30-something...the boss is 99.

Check it out.... ▼

Movie Monday #42 - Crash Test

The weekly...or sporadic...series in which I share a game-related video.

—DLC Review— Episode Gladiolus (FFXV)

Some DLCs stand out, needing their own review, but not always because they're great...

I usually enjoy/love anything and everything Final Fantasy, but the Episode Gladiolus DLC is, in a word, meh.

Every game has glitches. Some companies are KNOWN for them—I'm looking at YOU, Bethesda—others not so much. Bottom line, they all have them. This week's video focuses on a few from FFXV. I've included some clips that aren't glitches, just amusing. Enjoy! ♥

New Loot! (#44) - "A Few More PS4 Exclusives" Edition

Yet another post about my recent gaming acquisitions...

---

***A Few More PS4 Exclusives***
New Loot!

It's a short list this time, but that's really no excuse when each game is $20+. Anyway, here's what I grabbed...

• The Last Guardian - this was actually a purchase for hubby, as he'd expressed interest in this puzzling, platformer-ish style game. I think the huge, rodent-like creature is cute and I want to know more. lol
• Sword Art Online: Lost Song - I already had Re: Hollow Fragment, and I love the anime series, so getting this was only a matter of waiting for the price to drop a little. It did, so now it's mine, all mine.
• Exist Archive: The other side of the sky - I stumbled across this on Amazon and it looked and sounded like a game I'd enjoy. Otherwise, I'd never even heard of it.

That's it for this round. I'll probably have another post about more new loot...later. :D

Until next time...

Movie Monday (#38) - Scoring BIG (Mobius FF)

The series in which I share a gaming video. Duh.

---

***Scoring BIG***
Mobius Final Fantasy

After over a year of playing Mobius on Android, and a few weeks of playing it on PC, I finally managed a battle score that floored me. 22.6 million. I'm still a little in shock and I'm quite sure I'll never manage this score again. Especially since it was accomplished during one of the limited time battles featured in the FFVII Remake Collaboration Event.

Want to see how I did it? Watch the video embedded below. ▼

Tips N Tricks Tuesday (#18) - Photo Challenge Tip (FFXV Carnival DLC)

The series in which I share a gaming tip or trick. Some are ones I discovered on my own, while some are ones I had to look up online. The following is one I happened to stumble across myself.

---

***Photo Challenge Tip***
Final Fantasy XV
Moogle Chocobo Carnival DLC

This post is by no means a cheat for the photo challenge in FFXV's Moogle Chocobo Carnival DLC. I only give away one image in particular. I've thought about finding them all for anyone who wants to "cheat" their way through this aspect, but there are already a bunch of videos doing just that.

Honestly, I was getting so frustrated that I was tempted to find someone who'd posted all the locations. Until I happened to realize something...
