New Loot! #47 - "The Obsession Continues..." Edition

The series in which I brag about all my latest gaming acquisitions. This post is a bit late, as I grabbed these games several months ago. My bad...

***The Obsession Continues...***
New Loot! #47

Grim Dawn (PC)—
This one was on my wishlist for a very long time. The reviews actually sold me on this one.

Rise of the Tomb Raider (PC)—
Finally got it!! YAY!!!

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions (Android)—
This was on sale. I've never played it before and was thrilled to add it to my FF collection.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (PS4)—
Pre-order. This is my first time playing a brawler and I'm not sure how I feel about it. But I love seeing the older game characters with updated graphics. That's fun. :)

Assassin's Creed Syndicate (Xbox One)—
Hubby got this free with his Games with Gold thingy. Yeah, it's totally mine. Even though it's on the Xbone. I really dislike the Xbone...

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered (PS4)—
Gotta love Humble Bundle.

Have you gotten any new games lately? Tell us about it in the comments! ♥

Until next time...

New Loot! (#39) - The Lara Croft Edition

The series in which I brag about the games I just bought, and refuse to admit that I'll probably never play half of them...

---

***The Lara Croft Edition***
New Loot!

Yet another edition where the number of games I bought exceeds the viability of making the new loot post pretty. However, I've included links to the games I just added to my library. If only Steam didn't know just  how to tempt me...

New additions to my gaming library:

1. Tomb Raider I
2. Tomb Raider II
3. Tomb Raider III: The Adventures of Lara Croft
4. Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation
5. Tomb Raider V: Chronicles
6. Tomb Raider VI: The Angel of Darkness
7. Tomb Raider VII: Legend
8. Tomb Raider VIII: Underworld
9. Tomb Raider Anniversary
10. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light + DLC
11. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris + DLC

Can you believe it? Sheesh. They said I could have them all (plus any and all DLC) for only $22. I couldn't turn that down when I didn't even own 8 of them yet. (I already had I & II for PS1 and Guardian of Light for 360.)

Anyway, if you can see it, I've embedded a link below that will take you to Steam. They have the Tomb Raider games on sale quite often, I've noticed.

Until next time...

On the Horizon (#11) - Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration

In which I yammer on about games or game-related items not yet released, and how much I want them...

**Rise of the Tomb Raider**
20 Year Celebration

I recently got an email from Square Enix (Of course I'm subscribed to their newsletter! I'm obsessed with Squeenix, remember?) and it was filled with info on the upcoming special edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider.

This is a game I've wanted for a while, but have yet to acquire. Now, I will wait until I can get my hands on this special, 20th anniversary edition. I mean, check out everything it includes:

I swiped this from the purchase page. Clicking it will enlarge it so you can read it [hopefully].
Clicking HERE will take you to the link where I nabbed it. ♥

It's really neat to see how far Tomb Raider has come from its very beginning. Check out the YouTube vid I've linked below. ▼

Steam's Summer Sale is on NOW!

***Steam Summer Picnic Sale***
ends July 4, 2016 10AM PDT

Totally swiped from Steam's home page. Clicking the picture will take you to Steam. :)

It's that time of year again! Time for Steam to put most of their catalog on sale, up to 90% off. Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Final Fantasy, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Devil May Cry, Dirt, and so many other game franchises are in this sale!

Another GoG Sale: Earn FREE Games!

GoG's big summer sale is happening now!

---

***GoG Sale***

GoG's summer sale is on and you can earn free games! Just collect XP, which can be earned by doing little tasks assigned right on the site, or by buying games.

Yeah, so buying games doesn't really equal free, but some games are as little as $1.49 (Witcher Enhanced Edition, Witcher Adventure Game, and others), which will earn you 1500 XP each. Then just do the little things around the site they set up for you and you'll have earned the 5000 XP required to get Spelunky for free. Looks like a cute little platformer.

Of course, all of the Witcher games are on sale. Witcher III Wild Hunt is 50% off, making it only $24.99. All the expansions are on sale too. If retro Tomb Raider is your thing, you can grab all the old games for only $7.47. There are also Star Trek games and Dungeons & Dragons games. A little something for everyone.

The sale ends June 22, so you have only a few days to decide. Happy gaming! ♥

Until next time...

Screenshot Saturday (#13) - Tomb Raider (2013)

I'm a long-time fan of the Tomb Raider franchise. When I heard there would be a reboot, of course I was intrigued. I like the result, though it's by far more "adult" than the first games in this series. Here are a few screenshots. Enjoy! ♥

New Loot! (#13)

Here's one I forgot...

***Tomb Raider***

Published by Square Enix

Developed by Crystal Dynamics

Released 2013

*Rated M for Mature 17+*

This was one I picked up free a long time ago when Microsoft offered it to Xbox Live Gold users. I don't normally share every single one of those I pick up since I rarely play them longer than ten minutes or so and then they usually end up deleted from my console. I happened to play this one through to the end, however, and I quite enjoyed it, so I figured I'd add it to my 'loot I need to share with my readers' pile.

I was a Tomb Raider fan way back when I had a playstation (PS1). In fact, though I no longer have a working PS1, I still have Tomb Raider 1 & 2 (I also have Gran Turismo 1 & 2, but that's a different story). So this new take on the franchise was one I was eyeballing for a while. It was a nice bonus when Microsoft offered it for free.

Definitive Edition

Published by Square Enix

Developed by Crystal Dynamics

Released 2014

*Rated M for Mature 17+*

While I'm at it, I might as well share that I also grabbed the Definitive Edition when it was offered free for Xbox One. It includes all the DLC and a few extras only available in the Def Ed. I haven't played it yet, but I'll get to it eventually, just to see what's different if for no other reason.

Until next time...
