New Loot! (#7)

Hubby recently entered the world of PC gaming and dragged me along with him. We've only got a few games so far, and I'm planning a longer post about our switch from console gaming, but for now, here's our newest loot...

***The Elder Scrolls Anthology***

Published by Bethesda
Developed by Bethesda
Released 2013
*Rated T (teen) - M (mature 17+)*

In the big wide world of game modding, Skyrim specifically offers tens of thousands of options. Hubby's been having a blast modding the living crap outta Skyrim. He hasn't done much with the other games in this anthology, though I'm sure he'll give Oblivion a fair chance. Eventually.

Meanwhile, this is one of the prettiest collections I've ever seen. It includes Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion (Game of the Year Edition), and Skyrim (Legendary Edition), as well as maps for each. It's pretty neat.

Skyrim does require Steam registration in order to play, which if you ask me, kinda makes the whole buying a disc game pointless. And annoying.

***Mass Effect Trilogy***

Published by EA Games
Developed by BioWare
Released 2012
*Rated M for Mature 17+*

Hubby hasn't done much with this yet. He had some trouble getting the games loaded due to server issues on EA's end, and that pissed him off just a bit. It really sucks when you buy a disc game and then can't even play it because you're REQUIRED to go online to register it or whatever, and the company's site isn't even working right. Very frustrating. And kinda stupid. If we wanted to play online games, we'd buy... online games. Ugh.

Until next time...
